Competitive Program Registration Commitment Terms and Conditions
Registration Commitment
Registration in the Peterborough Swim Club's Competitive Programs, including Pre-Competitive, AG-Devo, AG-Train, AG-Race, Junior Performance, and Senior Elite groups, is a 10-month program (September to June).
By completing registration, the swimmer and parent/guardian acknowledge and agree that registration reserves a training space for the duration of the program, and that coaching, facility, staffing, and operational costs are planned based on these commitments.
Withdrawal Policy
In the unusual circumstance of a withdrawal within the competitive program season, a swimmer may only withdraw from a program at the conclusion of a session. Within the competitive program, club sessions are defined as:
- Fall Session (end of December 2026)
- Winter Session (end of March 2027)
- Spring Session (end of June 2027)
Requests to withdraw at any point other than those presented above, will not relieve the member of the financial commitment to the end of the ongoing session. Training fees for the session remain payable from the date of registration through the end of that session, regardless of attendance or early withdrawal.
Outstanding Account Balances
The Club reserves the right to suspend participation until all outstanding financial obligations have been satisfied.
Injury Exception
The only exception to the session commitment and withdrawal policy is when a swimmer is unable to continue training due to an injury.
To be considered for an exception, the injury must be reported and documented in accordance with the Peterborough Swim Club's current Injury Policy. Any adjustments to registration status or fees resulting from an approved injury claim will be administered in accordance with that policy.
Acceptance
By registering for a Competitive Program, the parent/guardian and swimmer acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions and accept the financial commitment associated with registration for the full program.
