Masters Program Overview

Our Masters program is a structured program, designed to support swimmers aged 20 and over. This program is suitable for swimmers that have participated in age swimming, high school swimming, or are familiar with at least three strokes (freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke). With a combination of drills, kicking and technical adjustments, participants have the opportunity to improve their fitness and performance, in a social environment that encourages excellence. Our swimmers participate in local, provincial and national meets, however many participate in triathlons, other sports and use swimming as a mechanism to stay in shape.

Our coaches are affiliated with our provincial sport organization, Swim Ontario, have been educated in the NCCP swimming curriculum and have first hand experience as swimmers. Their expertise and welcoming approach provide an environment that is non threatening, allows swimmers to progress at their own pace and encourages all swimmers to improve their skills. Our program also provides flexibility, with training sessions provided in the morning and evening. In addition, registered swimmers can choose their level of commitment, with options for registration that allows the best fit for work, family and other commitments.

Should you have any questions about our Masters program, please feel free to contact Kent Crockower, PTBO swim club head coach at [email protected].
